This study looked at the factors that motivate and deter
faculty use of service-learning.  This faculty survey found
"remarkable" consistency in the various motivators and
deterrents to service-learning, both for faculty who do and
do not use it. The authors also suggest several strategies
for recruiting and sustaining service-learning faculty.
